Base 2+2 Hatchback/Fastback

Base Coupe/Notchback

Cobra II

All Years: Front "chin" spoiler, hood scoop, rear spoiler.
Buck Tage code "CB". There are no special VIN or cert label codings for this car.
'76-'77: lower body side "Cobra II" logo.
Dual Racing stripes over the top of the car.
Large cobra emblem on rear of front fenders.
Cobra in center of grill.
Louvers on side flipper windows only.
'77:Black/Gold Cobra II would have blackout window moldings and wiper arms.

'78: Large tri-color stripe over the top and around the sides with large "COBRA" logo on the side of car across the middle.
Louvers on the backlite and side flipper windows.
Black dual sport mirrors and blackout trim around windows and wiper arms.

Ghia

Typical upscale trim package.
Vinyl or Half vinyl roof. (Also optional on base.)
Ghia badge on "C" pillar.
Later models had smaller rear opera windows than standard coupe and badge on right side of dash.
3rd and 4th position of VIN is 04. Cert Label body code is 60H.
Available on Coupe body only.

King Cobra

Large graphic snake on hood.
Front Air Dam.
Rear Spoiler.
Blackout Trim including headlights.
No emblem in grill.
Wheel well flares on front and in front of rear wheel wells.
Buck Tag code "KC". There are no special VIN or cert label codings for this car.
Available on hatchback body only

Mach I

Lower body is black, taillight area is blacked out.
Letters "MACH1" in lower black
3rd and 4th position of VIN is 05.
Cert Label Body code is 69R.
Available on Hatchback body only.

MPG

Base coupe, fastback or possibly Ghia with letters MPG on the rear of the front fenders.

Stallion

There are no special VIN or cert label codings for this car.
Large Stallion Logo/sticker at rear of front fenders.
Blackout Trim excluding headlights which remain chrome.
Lower body painted black similar to Mach I.
Available on Coupe or Hatchback body.
