New England Region SAAC* Show
Mustangs Unlimited Manchester CT May 2002
This year's annual New England Region SAAC Show was hosted at Mustangs Unlimited's headquarters.
Once Again, there were only 3 Mustang IIs at the Mustangs Unlimited show this year. But at least this time mine was one of them.
I intended to share some pics of this KC last fall when I first saw it, but my camera was messed up and the pics didn't come out.
So, this year I have my own photos (yet to be developed) and these from Lucien Butin. Lucien was kind enough to send them for me to share
with our visitors.
 Sam and his King Cobra
This is an original KC with less than 30K miles. Sam bought it last year from a cousin. It is a really sweet KC and
has a unique CB radio option that plays through the radio. The controls are on the mic, which mounts in the glove box.
Sam even has the original manual for the CB. It is a pleasure to look at this car to find the details of an original that
were lost through the years on many of our cars.
 Lucien and his 2+2
Lucien Butin returned with his II this spring. He has done a wonderful job of detailing this car since he bought it.
This winter saw some nice cleanup work under the hood. It hardly looks like the same car under there. This is one well-cared for II!
Lucien is the current President of the Southeastern Connecticut Mustang Club.
 Lee and his Coupe
Here I am with my car. I wasn't sure I would be going to the show.
Last fall, just before she went in for the winter, the power steering pressure hose blew.
I replaced it Saturday before the show, with just enough time to spare to wash it down a bit.
Not much time for detailing her though. It doesn't really matter to me, I just wanted to park it by Lucien's car
and I was hoping the KC would return. It turned out to be a good day. We all had a lot of fun and a good time together.
 Proud Owners
Here we are together for the photo-op. We recurited Lucien's girlfriend's father to take the pictures for us.
Here are a couple of spare shots of Sam and his car, Lucien and his, me and mine.
