In 1988, my dad first showed me what was to become my car. Under a tarp at the back of the shop, sat a slightly rusty but intact Cobra II V-8. I fell in love with the little car that very moment. I thought she was little at the time, but she has definitly grown in my eyes since then.

We started restoring the Cobra in 1993 and worked on it until mid 1994. In Febuary of 1994, the stock 302 finally started to go so I removed it in favor of a '66 K-code 289 SCX. I drove it for a year or so in primer gray and black and put her back in the shop in the fall of 1995.

I had her painted and on the road again by March of 1996. The paint has suffered a little and some of the bodywork is deteriorating, but plans are in the works for new metal and paint this fall. Also the RAD/T-5 Hybrd transmission setup will be complete hopefully by mid August.
