I was given the car in winter of 1999 with a broken 2.3 engine in it. I have never attempted doing anything like this before so it has all been a learning experience. thanks to the help of people on the forums my car is alive. I started with a 302 and FMX trans out of a 79 couger and knowing it was running to start with got the 77 up and running I have now found a built 302 from a 67 mustang and installed that. I also pulled a 9" 4:11 posi from a 69 bronco and installed that love the dual patches. it runs great and I have been having a blast the whole way through.
