This car was purchased and chosen by myself as a direct replacement for a 1985 K-Car (great choice right?) Sold to me as is in supposedly like new condition. The car was structurally ok, but the mechanical condition was a different story. As of October it is still in the local performance shop undergoing a complete engine and transnmission rebuild. I am also upgrading the 2 barrel motorcraft carbueretor and stock manifold to a holley Four Barrel carbeuretor and manifold with automatic kickdown. Im also having dual exhaust installed, and a chrome aircleaner is the icing on my proverbial cake. The car is indeed a rarity in my parts mainly due to the fact that any car in Western New York is put to pasture prematurely due to the high rate of rusting.
