This 78 coupe is mostly original. The second owner of the car, who purchased it sometime around 81 or so, was the (now deceased) wife of my great uncle. She drove it until her untimely death in 1985 to cancer. The car was left to her husband, who drove it for a couple years until he decided it was too small to be practical. He then sold it to his brother (my grandfather) who drove it for a couple years before coming to the same conclusion. However my grandfather decided he wanted to hold on to it to give it to his oldest grandson (me) as a 16th birthday present. Fast forward to 1996, and the car gets pulled out of storage to become mine. Most of the car is original, minus the block and head which were recently replaced. All the paint above the pinstripe is factory original as well. This car is my daily driver and I am often seen in the Minneapolis, MN area.
