A body saw, some FIAT parts and an intense desire to see the sun resulted my version of what Ford should have done back in 1976. The top frame was fabricated from a Fiat and parts of the old roof. A custom made top was sewn and assembled by a local hotrodder. The car is powered by a 289 4bbl mated to a t5 five speed manual transmission and 3.00:1 8" rear axle. Subframe connecters were added to stiffen the chassis. Overall, its not a project I would wish to repeat, but the car is great fun now that it's done.
