My Baby is a 1978 Mustang II Mach 1 T-Top V8. It has a 306 with an Edelbrock Performer Package and nitrous kit. Shifts are handeled with a B&M Star Shifted C4 featuring larger drums and more friction's. The rear axle is an 8" with a Richmond mini spool and 3.55 gears. Exhaust features Dynomax headers with 2 1/2" pipe. A custom "H" pipe with two Flowmaster 40's in place of the gas tank finish off the system. The fuel system has a Carter HP electric pump with a Holley fuel pressure regulator and a RCI 15 gallon fuel cell. Cooling the beast are two Mr. Gasket 10" electric fans with a custom 1975 based 3 core rad. The car has a 6 point roll cage and frame connecters. Mas fiberglass bumpers and Mustang's Unlimited front spoiler have been added to the body. The semi-gloss black hood has a 60's Ford turn signal indicator hood scoop. Shaved door handles, antenna and hatch lock smooth out the body. Grabber blue and semi gloss base coat clear paint finish off the body work. Future plans for the Mach include: -5 bolt brake upgrade. -Chrome Magnum 500 wheels. -BFG drag radials / BFG T/A tires. -Edelbrock performer Cyl heads. -Gear Vendors overdive unit.
