Its a true barn story... This FORD MUSTANG II, was originally bought at University Ford, san Diego, by a Dutch businessman for his Wife. It was used for one and a half year in California. When the owner moved to Japan/Tokyo for his work, they took the car with them. Driving on the “wrong” side of the road was not really nice to do the owner told me, so most of the time the car stayed in the carport. In 1980 he retired and moved to France and of course they took the car with them as well. I bought the car with only 22.892 miles on the clock during December 2004 and it was still standing in the Garage untouched! The Japanese number plates still on it…. (So that makes me the 2nd owner) I restored it completely with my son Rutger which was not too much work as the car was in a reasonable good condition. January 2008 we officially imported the car from France into The Netherlands. Last September during a European Mustang contest we won the first price in our class 1974/1978.
