Dyno Don Nicholson's Mustang II Dragster

Featured on the cover of the October 1976 Issue of Car Craft Magazine, Dyno Don's '76 Mustang II dragster replaced his previous '70 Mustang with better results as everyone was going to smaller cars. While his wins were few, they were big. He took the '77 Gaternationals, Springnationals and US Nationals. Under the hood is a 1967 Ford manufactured aluminum 351 Cleveland block bored and stroked to 406ci. The block was originally manufactured for the 1967 Trans Am program and had recently become available at an affordable price.
