About My Car
I had every intention of using this car as a parts bin for my 1976 Ghia. When the car was delivered to me, it was in much better shape than I could have ever expected from a Virginia car. I am sure the fact that it spent 10+ years in a barn in Roanoke helped protect it from the winters. My mustang needed much help to become what you see in these pictures, including the fact that when I got it, the tranny was in the trunk.
After a fuel system overhaul (incl. tank), a trans rebuild, a new clutch, a tune-up, a carb rebuild, new fluids, belts and hoses, my new car was at least drivable.
I quickly learned the old barn rotted tires were not the best thing to be rolling around on, so I opted to get rid of them and the 13-inch rusty steelies in favor of brand new 14x7 American Racing wheels with 195/60R14 BFG doughnuts. They really do fit the car rather nicely, and not just in size.
